For 2018…

…here’s what I’m adding to my Writerly Goals List:

PUBLISH A NEW BOOK. My Ego Likes the Compliments is fine or whatever, but I’m sick of it. I need something new to exist in the bookosphere.

HOST TWO WRITING WORKSHOP INTENSIVES. My aim is always to help nurture strong writers. You’re welcome.

HOST A WRITING RETREAT. It’s been a dream of mine for a long time; can’t wait to make it happen!

READ AT FOUR NEW EVENTS/VENUES/SERIES. I need to get my name out there more. If you know of an event, drop me a line.

FIND A HOME FOR THREE SHORT STORIES. My poor stories have been abandoned as I chased the novel train; time to revisit them and get them placed.

FIND A HOME FOR FIVE POEMS. I’ve been dabbling so it would be great to see them in journals.

HOST A LITERARY PANEL. It’s been a while and I have so much knowledge to share!

A SUCCESSFUL PLUMA Y TINTA SEASON. I want fresh talent; full house/standing room events; buzzworthy programming.

FIVE NEW EDITORIAL CLIENTS. Momma’s about to have TWO BABIES IN COLLEGE so I needs some MOOLA! Are you working on a book? HIRE ME!

ACQUIRE TWO SUCCESSFUL MSS FOR SERVING HOUSE BOOKS. I’m a non-fiction editor for this small press and I’d love to really make my mark with some amazing new voices.

What’s on your plate for 2018?
