I know what you’re thinking: How can she take a vacation when she hasn’t even been writing regularly? LISTEN HERE, I NEEDED THIS VACATION, OKAY?
Initially it wasn’t meant to be that, but once I landed in Los Angeles I decided that writing would not be a priority on the trip.
That’s not to say that a few new stories didn’t creep into my head and make their way to Notes in my phone, but there was more wine drinking and vista admiring than anything else.
I highly recommend these breaks. Even if you were already on a break. A change of scenery is always welcome.
But then come home and get right back to work!
